Pyra Sutra is a dancer, choreographer and performance artist who has performed alongside such celebrities as Tommy Lee, Alice Cooper, Dave Navarro, and has been seen performing her signature acts on NBC, Tru TV, MTV, FOX, Bravo and many other media outlets! She was officially "passed the torch" by 60's burlesque legend Satan's Angel (Performing Friday night) at the 2008 Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas NV. She has been featured on several national television outlets and is the co-founder and artistic director of Phoenix, Arizona’s Scandalesque, a neo-burlesque and cabaret show that combines singing, dancing and variety with a vaudevillian twist.

The Cowgirl Covergirl of Texas Burlesque headlines opening night! Thursday nights "Nouveau Nuit" (New Night) will feature new troupes and solo performers making their debut festival performance as well as more seasoned performers debuting new routines.
The crowd will be selecting "Best Debut " and that winner will return to perform on Saturday night and to compete in the late show finals!
